I asked Chun what I should blog about today... his answer was to write about what a wonderful person he is. So... here I go

Chun started here just shortly after I did. I had been here all of two months. My first impression? He was funny, funny haha. I could tell he had a great sense of humor and was one of those people I was going to enjoy working with. I can hardly believe that was 3-1/2 years ago.
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but in 2000 and 2001... my boss and the two department managers took me out for lunch on Administrative Professional's Day. It was nice. 2002, nothing. 2003, nothing. Chun, someone I don't even technically support took me out to very nice lunches both of those years. Not even a word or e-mail acknowledging the day from my boss, or the two managers... or anyone else for that matter.
In casual conversation one day I mentioned babysitting my 3 year-old neighbor girl and watching SpongeBob Square Pants... it was freakin' hilarious. The following week, I received, courtesy of Chun, a laughing, talking SpongeBob toy.
For my birthday, he got me a cookbook by Alton Brown, one of our favorite FoodTV personalities. It is still one of my most favorite cookbooks, I've read it cover to cover... twice.
For Christmas, Chun went way way above and beyond anything I expected and got me the fondue pot I so terribly wanted. Aside from being completely and utterly shocked, I was touched. That is generous. I absolutely cannot believe he did that.
Aside from being generous and thoughtful, he's an all-around nice person. He'll probably yell at me for putting that out on the internet for everyone to see... but this blog was his idea
He listens when I need to talk. He feigns interest when I get going on something I'm excited about (heh, like my 40" inseam pants or Venetian plaster). He entertains me throughout the day (thank goodness for IM). Not to mention, he's smart. Intelligent-smart and wise ass-smart... it most certainly keeps me on my toes
Heh, I honestly don't think I know another soul, other than my husband, who could ask me to look at his crotch (and in turn, me willingly do so *bah-hahaha*) or that I could ask to look at my boobs (didn't blog about that, it happened today).
So, as I mentioned a while back, he's one of those people that I'd probably risk my life to save. The world would most definitely suffer a loss if it lost Chun.
Good thing I started this thing at 3:49 because now I have to go home. Otherwise... I could go on
Have a good weekend.

Chun pays attention to details - he's one of the good ones!
Some day he'll have one lucky lady!
Cheers to Chun!
Awwww
OMG! I was just being a jackass when I said that. Why must you spread these lies about me? You know none of this really happened!
Ah, an ode to chun
It's good to know there are still thoughtful and considerate people out there!
aww what a guy and how lucky you are to have such a great friend! you think I believe this stuff
Very entertaining site you have here!
Cool post
Yay Chun!! Friends are good.
I think I might start blogging about people once in a while. I can start with you, and tell all about the day that I met you for the first time, kidnapped you, and forced you to spend a weekend in Ohio, surrounded by paper and scissors and lots of bottled water! LOL!!!
Aw!
Wait, 40 inch inseams?!?
Isn't it great to meet someone like that? I'm glad you guys started such a great friendship. =)
It's awesome to have a friend like that at work, isn't it? Makes the suck-assiness of (most) jobs bearable. Glad you have him!
I love Alton Brown and I covet your cook book! I am such a geek for cooking shows.
I've been reduced to tears
